WD Emmons, former mechanic for the U.S. Air Force and employee of major companies like, Shell, Allied Chemical and Maxwell House Coffee, founded our company in 1973. WD bought an old Texaco station and a lot for $12,000 and simply "started doing repairs." From such humble beginnings, he grew Bayou City Pump into a highly experienced, service oriented company.

Today, Bayou City Pump shares WD's philosophy of providing customers with extraordinary service. For over 35 years, our business has grown by earning the trust of our customers and exceeding their expectations through many full-service capabilities.
